If you're a photographer who shoots
Weddings, Portraits, Sports or Events, you need to know
Adobe Lightroom.
In fact, if you shoot more than 20 photos
or more at a time, Lightroom is an essential tool of
your post-production process.
Lightroom is especially designed to
make the work of processing unbelievably easy.
Because we believe so strongly in Lighroom
and believe that every photographer should know have
a grasp of this powerful software, we have made it even
easier to educate yourself.
We have made two one-day workshops:
Lightroom Introduction and Lightroom In-Depth.
Adobe Lightroom
is an invaluable cross-platform program for the photographer
who wants it all – importing, storing, processing
and managing large volumes of digital photographs through
the use of metadata and keywords, all in a non-destructive
manner. In creating Lightroom, Adobe worked directly with
photographers to create a stand-alone program that is
also very well integrated with Adobe Photoshop. Lightroom
can also showcase your images as a slide show presentation,
as well as creating stunning Web Pages. Although images
may be on multiple hard drives, even when the hard drives
are not connected, the user will be able to see all
of the stored images.
Lightroom allows the photographer to take
their RAW images and, in a non-destructive manner fully
edit these images. You will always have access to your
RAW files. This also means the changes can be saved
as a small set of editing instructions stored in the
image's metadata, along with captions and camera information.
In addition, using dual-monitor support
and 64-bit technology, Lightroom can use your own camera profiles
to match the camera manufacturer’s color appearance.
In addition, a DNG Profile Editor is in the public beta
stage. |
