I have to tell you about some of the exciting things on the calendar and in the works for this spring and through the summer.

First off, this weekend is our Strobe Intensive workshop. Lots of people have asked for a one-day workshop where we discuss and practice using small strobes (flashes) to produce impressive results. In this class you are encouraged to use your flash or our own. It promises to be an exciting workshop. Our new class, Stock Photography with Mark Hayes starts next Tuesday, March 16th. As a participant, you will be guided around the techniques of stock photography. Mark will use his years of experience to help you avoid the pitfalls and get right to work on building your portfolio and making some extra cash.

Finally, we will have our first Community Critique on April 10th. For this Saturday event, you are invited to bring your photos in either digital or print. As a community, we will critique each other's photos, giving positive feedback and help each other grow in our own art. This will be a free event and all students are invited.
