Hi Photo Enthusiast,

I wanted to share with you some of the goings-on in photography this week. It's an exciting weekend of opportunities followed by a series of new classes and favorites.

This weekend we're going on our free monthly photowalk. This Saturday we're going to the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs where we plan to make some wonderful moonlight images. Visit the photowalk page for more information.

Also this weekend are the Larimer Arts Association's LaPiazza Festival, where you can win a free trip to Italy from Mike's Camera and CHUN's People's Fair in Civic Center Park. It's going to be a great weekend. Make sure to charge your batteries and clear your memory cards.

Next week, we're starting four classes including Photoshop 101 and Ps 201, Digital Photo 101, Photographing Children and Jim Turley's new Wedding Photography Basic Training starting on June 17th. See our schedule on the right for dates on coming classes.

Architectural Photography with Reneé Gautreaux starts June 24th.

Architectural Photographer, Reneé Gautreaux will guide you through the techniques of photographing interior scenes.

Whether you're a professional photographer, real estate broker or simply interested in the style, this class will help to improve your appreciation and skill with the art of architectural photography.

As part of this course, we will have a hands-on lighting workshop, where students are encouraged to apply techinques to an actual scene.

What's happening in Denver (in photography)

Friday, June 5th. First Friday Art Walk. Various neighborhoods host this monthly art walk. Among them are the Art District of Sante Fe and Tennyson Street Artwalk. Go out and support local art.
