About the Founder
In college, Efrain studied communications;
television-making, computer science and photography. In December
1997 he started Beautifuleye.net as a public gallery of photography.
In August 2005, Efrain evacuated New Orleans
with Hurricane Katrina still in the Gulf. He moved to Denver
and printed a documentary of the aftermath called, "Eight
Feet Under: in the wake of Katrina". The exhibit
has been on display around Denver and will become a book.
Efrain has been teaching digital photography
since August 2006. With over two-hundred photography enthusiasts
who have called him their first
instructor, Efrain has decided to start a school for the
advancement of photography: Illuminate Photography Workshops.
It's an exciting time, we hope you will join us for a class
